How To Join the Senior Club

The focus is on fencing with electrical scoring apparatus. The club is strong in foil, epee and sabre. Three highly qualified professional coaches are employed and give individual lessons to improve a fencer's technique.

Bath Sword Club meets throughout the year at:

Thursdays 8:00 - 10:00 pm 14 pistes
Mondays 8:00 - 10:00 pm   8 pistes

The Monday session is more suitable for beginners and intermediate fencers.

Membership

Membership is an annual subscription paid by standing order:

Please complete the application form and standing order mandate with your details and return them to the Treasurer or to the club desk.

Notes:

Juveniles are fencers under 18 and the form asks for details of the parents/carers. A Juvenile may be invited to join the Senior Club where they can get individual tuition and a greater competitive environment.

Adults are fencers over 18.

Students are adults who are in full-time education and are able to attend the Club only in term time.

Reverse students are adults who are in full-time education and are able to attend the Club only out of term time.

Visitors

Experienced fencers visiting the Club are welcome. A Visitors Fee of £7 is payable at the desk on arrival.

Visitors are not eligible to use Club personal equipment or to take lessons.

An adult beginner, now World and European Champion.

 

Eloise Turner
An active young sabreur.

 

Veteran Fencers
The Club had a squad at the Commonwealth in Toronto.
